So excited that I'm gonna be an interpreter for firefighters from Taipei Government next Monday, (which means I'll skip my classes ..hee hee hee...) and it'll be a lot of fun!! Tell you more after the great adventure.

Spent like whole afternoon in lab, but did almost nothing. (pretty easy, huh?) Seems like my bosses are pretty cool.....maybe those science people are easy on paper work and stuff like that, which means I can easily get my writing credits!! :P Seriously, it's awesome to work with those people, coz one of my boss can really master in English, Japanese, Chinese, Cantonese, and Indonesian. (God....no secret in front of him....) Got my own lab notebook, put some recipe down in it.

HOT HOT HOT!!! It's so hot here this summer!!! Called my friends (they happened to be at the same spot) after I finished my lab this afternoon, asked them if they want to have dinner with me. None of them said yes, coz it's way too hot outside!!! I really really wanted to rip my shirt off ....UGH~~~ The lab thing is pretty cool, I made medium for E.Coli culture in a flask with a coil inside, (pretty cool to know that the coil is for oxygen generation~~) and that's pretty much what I did today in lab.

UGH~~~ Summer quarter starts!! Nice weather today, but too bad that I cannot take "weather 101" this summer coz the research will take most of my time this quarter. I'll hopefully take it some other time; however, Japanese and German will take up all my time since the coming autumn. 1st day of school was not too bad, except that I went to the wrong classroom for my 1st period, late for my 2nd period. (oopsie~~) And again, I'll have a pretty busy day tomorrow----being outside my sweet home from 8:30am to 5:00am, I believe. (well, I might want to drop my stupid genetics coz I'll have time to take it later anyway~~I'm gonna enjoy my summer in Seattle!!) Blog later~~

OK!! THAT'S IT!! It has reached my limit that my place in such a mess becuase my roommie's friends are moving in......papers and "stuff" are ALL OVER THE PLACE~~~ I tripped over a pale of crap (God-knows-what-that-is....) several times a day. And her (my new roommate) hair is like all over in the bathroom. And she has NO COMMON SENSE AT ALL!! She tried to wipe the basin with toilet paper in our bathroom, (why did she to that anyway?) and the paper melted in the basin. She didn't pick it up and threw it away; instead, she tried to drain it down to the pipe. AND THE PIPE GOT STUCK BECAUSE OF THAT!!! The worst part of having her here is: she's like a ghost walking without any noise.....and never say hi to you when you come back. She's in her room all the time, and come out of her room silently.....that scares me all the time coz I don't even know she's at home!!! Creepy~~~~~

Another "Sleepless-in-Seattle-night" tonight.....Went shopping for like 8 hours straight today (oh well, yesterday..), and bought a lot of hand craps (oops, should be crafts~~). Good idea to kill my time for the rest of my vacation. Guess I'm gonna go to bed now......need to work tomorrow, and go to GAP for a really stupid reason.

Yay!! I found my pre-school teacher, and talked to her on phone!!! She has a real cool name: 利珍妮卡兒, sounds like a foreign name, huh? Actually, she is an aborigine(阿美族), and she's the first aboriginal people I know. Cool, huh? God I miss her so much, and I've been looking for her for YEARS!!! Finally found her!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe that I made it!! I had a great breakfast @ 7:00am this morning!! (You all know how hard it is for me to get up that early, and I was actually dragged up by my friend...) As a matter of fact, it was one of my several breakfasts during the past quarter. Feel so good, a nice cold Saturday morning!!! Went to Laura's baby's one-year-old B-Day and helped her out. First time go to an American's typical party, and I was the only non-American at the party. Great party!! (And I got paid for helping her out, that's the best part!! hee hee hee.....)

好累喔...........我真的"強烈地發現"考完試比要考試還累.....Why is that? 因為3個字----不甘心!!對!!不甘心回家,不甘心太早睡~~~ 所以啦,把自己搞得"上床3分鐘保證睡死". 昨天就是因為不甘心要回家,所以我就跟朋友從downtown"走"了50分鐘的路回家.早上4:00才睡. 人呀~~不能不甘心呀~~~ (but anyway, it's my vacation now!!! Yay!!!!)

Mushu is sooooooooo cute!!!! He's getting bigger and bigger + fatter and fatter!! Oh~~ you should really take a look how he eats cornflakes....SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUTE!!!!! And his daddy plays some tricks on him.....I have to say that Mushu's dad is kinda sick for doing this to him, but.......the way Mushu responds is cute!!! But I have a quick question for those of you who major in zoology or whatever related to animals (hamster specifically) ---- Why does Mushu have 2 bundles of long hair at the back the his legs and at the back of his ears? The hair is like growing longer and longer.....

Bump into several "officers" at HUB today, and they look pretty depressed. I asked why they look so blue, their answer was like..."it's all because of the bad weather today!" I can only agree with it partially. In fact, me myself sometimes feel the same way as what they feel today, down because of the weather, rainy or cloudy. But you know what, it's kinda sad to let other things that you are not able to control effect your mood or feelings. Life is hard already, don't make it even worse becuase of the stupid weather!!! It's like cloudy + rainy for 300/365 days in Seattle, can you change that? NO!! The only thing you can do is just to change yourself, change the way you sense the world. You certainly not be able to change the weather, but you can certainly, at least try to, inspire others with your own good mood. World would be totally different if you view it with a different perspective. A day is just a day, 24 hours. How will you spend the day relies on how you want it to be. (God...it's like my ENGL 131 essay.....)

Umm..... NASA seminar final is fairly easy, really wish it's a 4.0 scale-graded class. Handed in all my lab stuff today, and no more hw or mid-terms whatsoever, which means the only thing left behind would be my finals.....2 more to go!!!

The total amount of time "seeing" my roommate is LESS THAN 10 MINUTES within a WEEK!!! I went to bed like 3:00am in the morning on the other day, and she was still outside somewhere else. And when I got home from school around 2:30pm the next day, she was out again right after my getting-home. "Bye~~" is probably our ONLY everyday expression. Weird life. Oh well....life this quarter is weird already anyway................

Ocean's Eleven is not as good as I thought. Just bunch of celebrities showing thier faces and acting some funny sitcom.....un..i bit of drama component in as well...just a teeny tiny bit of it.....But speaking of where they shoot the film, Las Vegas, I had so many memories about it. The worst-food-ever steakhouse across Bellagio, the you-can-only-watch-it store, the walk-thru-5-times-a-day street......gee...my memories about Vegas are so vivid that it's like I just get back from there......

humm.....just finished my math hw.(check~~) Watched "The Others" last night, and it's freaking scary......Just like "The Sixth Sense", you are trapped in the thinking-model whatever the director/screen writer created, and you will only know the "real truth" 'til the very end. The ending of "The Others" is totally the other way around as I thought it would be. Thrilling!!
